Mary Hare Secondary School

Our Secondary School welcomes students from Year 7 to Year 11.

At Mary Hare Secondary School students will have access to a full curriculum that is on par with their hearing peers, catering to all abilities.

No subjects is off limits -  we have plenty of students enjoying subjects such as PE, French or Music, that they may otherwise get excluded from in a mainstream setting. All class sizes are small and designed to maximise learning, with subjects taught by subject specialist Teachers of the Deaf.

Deaf students attending our school will also have access to services and support that fits around their timetable, such as Speech and Language Therapy and Audiology. This means that students are not pulled out of lessons, and if any support is needed with their personal amplification, this can be dealt with immediately.
