Alumni

Mary Hare pupils go on to enjoy a wide range of careers, further and higher education and other exiting opportunities once they leave the school.

All former pupils become members of the Alumni Association when they leave Mary Hare School. We enjoy being in touch with all our Alumni members as we like to hear what you are up to.

By being part of the association also means you can be kept up to date with any upcoming Association or reunion events, as well the opportunity to return to Mary Hare students and inspire a future generation.

There are lots of ways you can help once you have left Mary Hare School:

  • Could you or your employer offer work experience for a current pupil?
  • Would you be able to volunteer to help at one of our events?
  • Will you come back to talk to our current pupils about your experiences after Mary Hare?
  • Would you take on a challenge event to raise funds for our current Sports Appeal?

Please complete the form below to correct your contact details or sign up to our newsletters.

Hello, I am Derek Grabham, an ex-pupil of Mary Hare Grammar School (as it was called then) from 1976 to 1982.

It was a proud honour to have myself elected, by the members of the MHAA, as the new Chair of MHAA. It will be a huge challenge and very much look forward to the new era of the MHAA.

We now must bring the Association into this digital age using social media to bring the connection between the school and ex-pupils to a thriving relationship. It will be hard work, granted but it is possible,  as long as our new Committee and myself will ensure the Association into an active organisation.

If anyone have a suggestion or an idea to make this Association to something we can revere to. Please get in touch with the school.

Thank you.

Derek Grabham, pupil from 1976 to 1982., Chair of MHAA
