A qualified accountant, Peter worked for many years in the commercial sector before moving into the not-for-profit in 2009 in senior corporate resource positions. Peter enjoys the diversity of these types of roles, overseeing the broad spectrum of back office, operational and commercial functions that help Mary Hare deliver the education and residential care for our students and making it a great place to work. "I am passionate about the difference we make to our students’ lives during the time they are at Mary Hare and in the great work and partnership with them in preparing them for their futures beyond Mary Hare".
Peter is a member of the Executive Team, Mary Hare’s Data Protection Officer and director of Mary Hares commercial entities, it’s subsidiary trading company Mary Hare Services, and our two joint ventures, Mary Hare Hearing Centres LLP and The Hearing Aid Repair Shop.
In the autumn of 2023 Peter was elected Trustee of the National Association of Special Schools (NASS) representing a diverse range of member schools.
