Paul is an experienced teacher with 20 years' experience in secondary education, both state and independent. Paul is currently Deputy Head Academic of a successful boarding and day school in Oxfordshire, responsible for all aspects of pupils' learning and the development of future strategy. His work also involves working closely with the governing body, and in preparing the school for inspection. Paul's subject specialism is music and he has been Director of Music at several schools in central London, preparing pupils for many high-profile public performances and tours.  

Paul is also a parent of a pupil at Mary Hare and, as a qualified rugby coach and referee spends a great deal of time with the Colts section of his local rugby club. Paul also finds time for running and cycling, and recently completed the Pedal to Normandy event, a commemorative 400k cycle of the D-Day beaches raising funds for the Royal British Legion.
