April joined Mary Hare in January 2023. Prior to this she has worked within children’s residential settings for 14 years, including a specialist residential school and managing children’s homes. She has specialised in the management of attachment and trauma issues, using a therapeutic approach to support young people. April has family members who are profoundly deaf and therefore understands how this impacts daily life and understands how to support young people to achieve their full potential.
